Elder Law Associate Attorney
Elville and Associates, P.C. is looking for dedicated and driven associate elder law attorneys to join its busy, expanding Elder Law department. Qualifications:
- Admitted to the Maryland State Bar (D.C. Bar Admission is a plus).
- At least two years of estate planning/elder law experience is preferred.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrate strong client relationship skills and ability to lead in-person client meetings.
- Ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills to effectively manage a wide array of client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and manage an extensive case load while demonstrating great attention to detail and accountability.

The ideal candidate has experience with estate planning, estate, and trust administrations, Medicaid planning, and long-term care benefits. Litigation experience is a plus for guardianship and estate litigation cases.
- Diligent tracking of billable time on cases.
- Outstanding communication skills, particularly in crisis and emotional situations.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and willing to go the extra mile. Accomplishing tasks correctly the first time and meeting/exceeding expectations for our clients is very important and we need our entire team to work with this important goal in mind.
- You must be a collaborative team player. Clients and our advisory team partners benefit from a strong, collaborative approach.
- You need to be able to talk to people in a manner that is polite, educated, and puts them at ease. You cannot talk down to anyone that you deal with in our office. You need to have compassion when dealing with our clients, as many are going through difficult times and require extra patience.
- You must be a collaborative team player. Clients and our advisory team partners benefit from a strong, collaborative approach.

- Communicate and collaborate with other attorneys and professionals in all aspects of the case as required to ensure legal issues are handled appropriately.
