Bryan Pugh is a Senior Associate Attorney with Elville and Associates, P.C., where he brings more than two decades of leadership, advocacy, and community engagement experience to his work in Estate Planning, Elder Law, Special Needs Planning and Estate and Trust Administration. Known for his thoughtful communication style, deep empathy, and strategic mindset, Bryan combines a lifelong commitment to public service with a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal matters with confidence and clarity.

Before joining Elville and Associates, Bryan served as Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of Maryland (BIAMD) for over a decade, where he led initiatives supporting individuals with brain injuries, their families, and caregivers. Under his leadership, the organization's operational budget grew by more than 300%, fueled by successful grant writing, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. He also created several highly regarded community outreach programs — including the Brain Injury Connector Podcast, the #5Thoughts Fridays newsletter, and the Check-In Chat support group — all of which reflect his gift for connection, education, and meaningful engagement.

Bryan's background also includes key roles in public policy, education, and communications, including serving as Associate Director of Development and Communications at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and as Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Earlier in his career, he taught legal writing and research as an Instructor at Florida State University College of Law, where he also advised and mentored future attorneys.

A graduate of Florida State University College of Law (J.D., with Honors) and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy, Bryan distinguished himself academically by earning multiple Book Awards and membership in Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida Southern College (B.A., Cum Laude) and received a German American Club Fellowship to study at the Universität Hamburg in Germany.

Bryan's professional and volunteer work demonstrates a lifelong dedication to service. He has held leadership roles on the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Institute Board, the University of Maryland Medicine Foundation Board, and the Church of the Nativity Missions Finance Committee, among others. Licensed to practice law in Maryland and Florida, Bryan brings to his clients not only his broad legal experience but also a compassionate, educator's approach to helping families understand their options, protect what matters most, and plan with peace of mind for the future.
