Carolyn Truby is a Senior Associate Attorney with Elville and Associates, where she focuses her practice on estate planning and estate and trust administration. She works closely with individuals and families to develop thoughtful plans and to guide them through the administration process with clarity, organization, and care.

Carolyn brings a unique perspective to her legal work, having begun her career in accounting. For many years, she prepared and reviewed estate, gift, and trust tax returns, and that experience continues to inform her approach today. She understands not only the legal structure of a plan, but also how it functions from a financial and tax standpoint—allowing her to help clients make practical, well-informed decisions.

A native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Carolyn now resides in Prince George's County. Outside of her practice, she enjoys cooking, crafting, and taking on home improvement projects. She also has a creative interest in balloon decorating and sculpting, and she especially values time spent with her family and friends.
