Lynden Fausey-Weishaar, J.D., is an Associate Attorney with Elville and Associates, P.C., where she practices in the areas of estate planning, beneficiary representation, and estate and trust administration. She joined the firm in September 2025 after serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Stephanie Porter in the Circuit Court for Howard County.

Lynden's legal experience includes work in several areas of public interest law. While attending the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, she served as a Student Attorney in both the Immigration Clinic and the Postconviction and Sentencing Clinic, where she represented clients and gained hands-on experience with complex and often sensitive legal matters.

She also served as a Judicial Intern with the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings, conducting legal research and drafting opinions involving unemployment appeals under Administrative Law Judge Marissa Gunn. During law school, Lynden worked as a Research Assistant to Dean Deborah Eisenberg, focusing on mediation and employment law reform.

Lynden graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she earned CALI Awards in Lawyering II and Asylum Law and received a Maryland Public Interest Law Project (MPILP) Grant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies with high honors from Emory University, where she completed a thesis on criminal justice reform.

Before law school, Lynden also gained experience in writing, research, journalism, and public policy. That background, together with her legal training and judicial experience, has helped shape the practical and detail-oriented approach she brings to her work with clients

Lynden was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2024.

At Elville and Associates, Lynden works with individuals and families to help them understand their planning options and make decisions based on their needs and goals. She believes that clients should understand not only the documents they are signing, but how those documents work as part of their overall plan.
