Lynden Fausey, J.D., is an Associate Attorney with Elville and Associates, P.C., where she focuses her practice on estate planning, special needs planning, and estate and trust administration. She joined the firm in September 2025 following her clerkship with the Honorable Stephanie Porter in the Circuit Court for Howard County, where she developed a deep appreciation for how thoughtful legal guidance can shape meaningful outcomes for individuals and families.
Lynden's early career reflects a strong foundation in research, advocacy, and public interest law. During her time at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, she served as a Student Attorney in both the Immigration Clinic and the Postconviction and Sentencing Clinic, representing clients in sensitive legal proceedings and advocating for fair outcomes. She also gained valuable experience as a Judicial Intern at the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings, where she drafted opinions and conducted legal research on unemployment appeals under Administrative Law Judge Marissa Gunn.
Her academic achievements include graduating cum laude from Maryland Carey Law with a 3.76 GPA, earning CALI Awards in Lawyering II and Asylum Law, and receiving a Maryland Public Interest Law Project (MPILP) Grant. Lynden also worked as a Research Assistant to Dean Deborah Eisenberg, focusing on mediation and employment law reform. Before attending law school, Lynden graduated with high honors from Emory University, earning a B.A. in American Studies and completing a thesis on criminal justice reform. Her earlier experience as a writer and researcher—ranging from journalism to public policy analysis—continues to inform her thoughtful and analytical approach to legal practice.
Admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 2024, Lynden is dedicated to guiding clients through the estate planning process with clarity, compassion, and attention to detail. She is proud to be part of Elville and Associates' mission to deliver education-driven, collaborative, and values-based legal solutions that help clients protect what matters most to them.
