As an economics major in college, I learned that patents are legal monopolies and became intrigued by the government's impact on the business environment — and wanted to understand the purpose of the legal system in society.
A graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (J.D., 2014), where he concentrated in Business Law, Justin went on to earn his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (2020). He also holds an M.B.A. in Finance (with honors) from the University of Baltimore/Towson University (2010) and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park (2001).
Justin is admitted to practice in Maryland (2015), the District of Columbia (2016), and the United States Tax Court (2019), and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association. Since entering private practice in 2017, Justin has helped hundreds of clients achieve their estate planning goals through customized, thoughtful strategies. His clients value his professionalism, patience, and ability to simplify complex legal and tax issues. His extensive experience in litigation, guardianship, and probate proceedings enhances his ability to guide clients through every stage of planning — from creating a solid plan to administering estates and trusts after a loved one's passing.
In addition to his professional practice, Justin is dedicated to serving his community as a volunteer attorney with the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service, providing vital legal assistance to individuals of limited income.
