Sara's practice is centered on helping clients understand and confidently navigate the law. As she puts it...

I decided to pursue the practice of law to help people understand and navigate the law so as to best help those individuals and their family.

Her calm, caring manner and ability to explain complex legal issues in clear, accessible terms have earned her deep appreciation from clients, many who view her as a trusted family resource through times of transition.

Sara graduated summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where her scholarship and leadership earned high distinction. She also holds a Master of Science from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College, cum laude.

Sara is admitted to practice in Maryland and is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Baltimore City Bar Association. She has also contributed to important legal scholarship, authoring “Loss of Liberty Without Counsel: Why Maryland Must Pass Universal Representation for Immigration Proceedings” (54 U. Balt. L.F., May 2024).

At Elville and Associates, Sara is an integral member of the firm's Estate Planning Department. She works collaboratively with clients to create value-driven, comprehensive plans that reflect their goals, protect their assets, and honor their legacies. Her prior experience assisting clients with humanitarian immigration matters adds depth and compassion to her current work with older adults, individuals with special needs, and families seeking clarity and peace of mind.
