Shannon Goodwin is a Principal Attorney with Elville and Associates, P.C., where she leads the firm's busy Estate and Trust Administration Department. Her practice focuses on Estate and Trust Administration, Estate Planning, and Tax Planning — areas in which she provides thoughtful guidance, technical precision, and genuine care for each client she serves.

A graduate of Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., 2018) and North Carolina State University (B.A. in Political Science, 2015), Shannon began her legal career by building a strong foundation in the courts. She served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Circuit Court for Washington County and in the District Courts for Washington and Frederick Counties, experiences that deepened her understanding of the judicial process and refined her analytical skills.

Since joining Elville and Associates in 2021, Shannon has become an integral member of the firm, known for her professionalism, diligence, and commitment to helping clients navigate the complexities of estate and trust matters with confidence and clarity. She is admitted to the Maryland State Bar (2020) and the New York State Bar (2019), and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.

In recognition of her legal skill and dedication to excellence, Shannon was named to the Maryland Rising Stars list in 2024 and 2025 — a distinction awarded to only a small percentage of attorneys each year.
