Sherry Rush brings almost 30 years of experience in elder law, Medicaid planning, long-term care eligibility, and estate planning to her role as Senior Paralegal at Elville and Associates. A Certified Medicaid Planner (CMP) and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Sherry has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate the often-complex financial, legal, and personal challenges associated with aging and long-term care.
Throughout her career, Sherry has developed extensive experience in Medicaid eligibility and asset protection planning, financial analysis, and long-term care coordination. Her background includes managing complex caseloads, working closely with attorneys and financial professionals, and guiding families through the Medicaid application and approval process. She is particularly skilled at identifying potential eligibility issues, reviewing financial histories, and helping families understand their options while protecting their financial well-being.
Before joining Elville and Associates, Sherry served as an Elder Planning Manager and Senior Paralegal, overseeing a substantial caseload while supervising and mentoring staff. She also owned and operated Angels of Elder Care Planning, LLC, for more than a decade, providing comprehensive Medicaid planning and elder care consulting services to families throughout Maryland. Her experience includes working directly with nursing facilities, government agencies, and other professionals to help clients secure essential long-term care benefits.
Sherry's combination of technical knowledge, practical experience, and genuine concern for the families she serves makes her a valuable member of the Elville and Associates team. She understands that elder law and Medicaid planning are about much more than financial eligibility and paperwork — they are about helping families make informed decisions, preserve dignity, and find peace of mind during some of life's most challenging transitions.
